Hi,
I conencted mi LCD poalroid with a VGA cable to my pc, and when i disconencted it my tv stop showing any signal, it was tured on (the light on th ledger was blue as in ''on'') but the screen was just black. I disconnected it from the power supply and now it doesnt even turn on. What can I do?

So, I couldn't get the tuner to work (tried everything). Eventually I realised the cheapest solution would be to buy a digital set top box, and use this as the tuner instead of relying on the one built-in to the TV. Works fine.
But yes, I won't be buying another Panasonic in a hurry.

It worked. I replaced the two bad capcitors on the control board and presto. Thank you for solving this. I just about threw away my expensive HDTV, but for only 20 bucks it now works. I hope we can let more people know.

I have fixed many polaroids, the problems is most of the parts are contained in one self contained control box. it sounds like your power board is not funtioning. contact polaroid and let them know about your problem and see if you can get a new control panel. the contol panel only has one connection and 3 screws to replace. hope this helps.

The most likely the TV has a power supply related problem or it maybe just a blown fuse inside the TV.
I can't say it's 100% the problem because I can't actually look at the tv over the internet.
If by some chance the TV is still under warranty, go that route.
If not under warranty and If you have some electronic experience, you can purchase a Service Manual over the internet and diagnose the source of the problem and fix it by soldering in the new part. The Service Manual will give you circuit diagrams, test points, and part# lists. Usually, cost under $20.
I hope I shed some light on the subject for you.
