I forgot my Apple TV parental control passcode. Today I tried renting a movie and can't do it without the passcode, and can't figure out how to reset, and there is no function to remind password as is customary. Anybody know how to solve this one?

Go to settings in the main menu screen, next go to general button. Then at the bottom you should see reset button. This will reset your apple tv to factory settings, which will erase your passcode.

If you forgot the pin Select, Edit beside the BlueCurve TV Player you would like to reset parental controls for. Options to reset your Purchase PIN or and Parental Controls PIN are displayed. Select Reset beside Parental Controls PIN. A confirmation message is displayed.
If you rent the movie from your iTunes, you can log in to your account and then go to your libriay to find it.
BTW, if you want to get the rented itunes movie forever or move to other "library" instead of your iTunes library.

The best way to figure it out is to hold the Ipad mini against the light and see if you can tell what his unlock pattern is. If his screen is clean you wont be able to tell.
Turn on the PlayStation 2 and remove any disk that may already be in the device. Then insert a DVD, preferably one that will prompt you for the parental control code. Insert the code and allow the DVD to begin playing.
Press the "Select" button once the movie has started. This will bring up a menu. Find the "Settings" icon, and press "X" to enter the "Settings Menu." Scroll down and select the "Parental Controls Menu" and press "X."
Reset the "DVD Parental Control Level" to "Off," which will allow any DVD to play without prompting the user for the passcode. You may also choose to set it to level 8, which is the least stringent level.
Do not exit the menu after inputting the new settings. Instead, eject the DVD and remove it. This should cause the PlayStation to reset with the new settings enabled. If it does not automatically reset, then manually reset it by either flipping the switch in the back, or by holding the reset button in the front down. Leave the device off for a few seconds.
Turn the PlayStation back on and input a DVD that previously required the passcode. The PlayStation should now play the DVD without prompting you for the passcode. If it does, then you're finished. If it still prompts you for the passcode, then start again at step one and try it again.

Put the DVD in the PS2 and when the prompt for the password appears, press SELECT to bring up the delete password screen and enter the code 7444. Then register a new password.
When you get to the screen where it ask for passcode press the select button on the controller, it will take you to a screen to delete the passcode enter 7444 then it will prompt you for a new passcode and you can enter something you can remember. After you set new passcode you can go into parental controls to turn the feature off if you like.
