You can buy coffee pot descaling products at the grocery or department stores, or you can use a vinegar and water solution to break down the mineral deposits. You can use a cloth to start the cleaning, but scrubbing with abrasives is not a good idea.

If you use a retail product, follow instructions; if you use vinegar, use half water, half vinegar. Run it as though you were making expresso, using the frother while you do it. The frother can also be taken apart and soaked. Afterward, run the machine with clean water until all traces of the vinegar are gone. If it is really dirty, you may have to do it several times. Thanks for using fixya.

Krups automatic espresso machine error 0E

You need a special Torx screwdriver to access the insides of this machine, T10 and T15 from memory. Your best bet is to find a proper service agent who has experience with this model, they are NOT simple to work on. There are a lot of repairers who will not take them on so choose someone who is happy to do it and has experience on them. Best person would be whoever does them for Krups in your locality. The failure is nothing at all to do with you, it was going to happen no matter who was using it. The luckiest fault I can think of for you is a broken O ring seal on the tamping piston, you only need the top off to fix that. If it is that seal buy the correct part, they are quite a soft seal by comparison the what you get in a box of assorted O rings.

I need a user manual for my old Krups T18 Espresso Machine

I'm not sure what a T18 is, but maybe you could post a photo. Since you mention 'old', I think of the first few Krups machines that I had. The looked like the Espresso Bravo Plus model 872. You can find a manual for that machine on the Krups site, but I've created a shortcut for you here. The photo looks like: palibaacsi_1.jpg Hope this works for you!

Hi, Can I get a replacement glass pot for the 321? It's such a good machine, I'm extremely reluctant to just trash the machine. regards, Dave

You want a Krups carafe 016-42.

Shopwiki has a page here listing several sellers. (Be patient; many of them are "out of stock"!)

Alternatively, Nextag lists one for $24.99 (minus the lid... did you save your old one? If not, Abtechparts will sell you the lid for $9.99.)

Good luck!

I have a Krups coffee/espresso maker, with a milk steamer. It makes great coffee and espresso; however, the steamer is not working. It is not clogged; I cleaned the handle with a fine needle, and water...

There must be a blockage in that steam pipe, I think you need to dismantle the machine and remove all of the steamer parts off the boiler and look for the cause of the problem. Oftentimes it will be old hard milk that has been drawn up the pipe and gone hard from the heat. Once cleaned out prevention by blowing a large amount of extra steam through it after each use is the solution.

Can the lid on the Krups Aroma coffeee pot be taken apart to clean?

Yes!!! by the word lid do you mean the top or swing out filter holder? If you use small flat screwdriver you can expand plastic at hinge enough to pull apart!

Krups orchestro 889 coffee maker, nozzles where coffee runs out into the cup are blocked, one completely one partially, i read this could e the filter inside needing a clean but don't know how to take it...

Remove the the four screws at the rear of the machine you will need a pair of pliers to do this and remove the hinged lids on both sides.looking down from the top and to the front you will see a phillips screw on either side, remove these and the top will come off you will then see the channels that the coffee runs from the machine now just use a piece of suitable material to clean the pipe, easy!
