No power on TV - JVC LT-47X788 47 in. HDTV LCD

Suspected power surge took out TV, cable modem, phone modem and router. Unplugged TV to try to reset - no luck can't locate any other kind of reset. Nothing in manual about this

Power supply board is dead.U have a LED light indicator on LCD panel flashing?The tv is completely dead,no LED light at all?Tries Website like Shopjimmy.com.Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply for the replacement.

Sounds like a component failure in the circuit.possibly been power surged if you did not have it plugged through a good surge protector.

Lt 50a330 jvc
I was watching my tv model LT-50a330 JVC and it made two popping noises and the screen went balck but the green power light stayed on. I unplugged it and could smell something bad like a short. I havnt tried to turn it back on, does this mean I need a new tv, it's not even two yrs old.

Tries unplug,replug tv like an hour later,let the tv reset itself back to factory setting.The tv should work again.Not,than the tv power supply board is dead.Taking it to the shop or buying a new tv.It up to u comparing the repair prices and the new tv prices.

TV was playing fine (then we had a power surge) and now I do not get the digital cable signal on any input (TV, Video 1, 2, 3 , 4 or 5). The TV plays great when I hook up my DVD player to it.
