Error 'sending failed message barred'

Issue is not with your phone.. Your wife's phone or network might have a problem.. Wat about the msgs sent to others from your wife's phone.. Check the message centre number in your wife's phone.. If it's correct(Find it from the network provider) remove it and restart the phone. Or try entering the same message centre number. (No proofs, but stillthis cliche works... Try restarting the phone, remove the sim and insert it properly again.. Use a different sim in your wife's phone, send a few msgs, check it works.. then try sending msgs from your wife's sim from her phone).. Reply back if it works...

just reload your phone

software problem take it a phone shop or if still under warrenty send it back to S.E

i think you better check your settings.especially the network settings and message center settings

YOUR BB MMS SETTINGS IS CORRUPTED SO CALL YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER AND ASK THEM TO SEND THE MMS SETTINGS TO YOUR BB.

try to change the message center number by calling your customer center

try master reset of the phone

Sometimes because of a phone bug or a SIM error, the "Service Centre" for SMS messages is changed.
Please call your cellular Service Provider, and ask for their SMS Service Centre settings.
Then, go to Messages > Settings > Text Message > Service Centre.
Make sure the number you were given by the Service Provider matches the one written there.
If not, please changed to the one given to you by the Service Provider.

i have found some solutions for it..but i not sure whether i can trust them or not..??
i dont know what will happen if i master reset all my phone?
