Where do I oil my 7570 - it needs cleaned but I'm in the middle of a quilt and it is sounding "loud"

Most of the time the noise is coming from the bobbin area due to lint, debris and lack of lubrication. When you look in the bobbin area and turn your machine by hand, you will see the rotary hook rotating around the bobbin case, place a drop of oil on the hook where it touches the metal around the bobbin case and this should quiten it down.

My Janome 8900 is suddenly sounding clunky, and is jerky when I free motion quilt. The straight stitch still looks good.
Do you clean and oil your machine regularly? When I FMQ, I usually need to put a drop of oil on the hook every time I change a bobbin otherwise it gets really clunky.

There is a loud squeaky noise when machine quilting a meandering stitch with a darning foot. The feed dogs are down, stitch width is 0, length stitch is 2.5. The machine does not squeak when using regular...
Is the darning foot aftermarket or genuine darning foot for your particular model...If it is aftermarket, it may not be the correct length. What is you model?

I have a Pfaff 7570. I'm trying to quilt with it. Stitch in the Ditch is fine, but when I try to do Free Motion Quilting, the bottom thread is loopy and easily pulls out.
Use at least a 14/90 needle and make sure the presser foot lever is down.

When quilting my quilt the bobbin thread is heavy and messy on
This should be an easy fix, something is wrong with the upper threading. Take the thread off the machine, raise the presser foot up and rethread the machine, that should take care of it.

7570 Presser foot leaver..Slow to dropp down
Good morning,

If it's been a while (more than a year) since you've had your 7570 serviced by an authorized Pfaff tech, it's likely that it's just gotten gummed up and needs some attention and adjusting.

It's definitely fixable, but not something that you'll likely be able to do yourself - some of those parts are just not easy to get to and the lubricants needed aren't directly available.
