Can't talk to anybody, but can hear them just fine.

look up the tune specs VR13 (L PWR) L32 L33 high power maybe your watts are turned down if it is brand new send it back to the place you bought it from.If the watts are turned all the way down you won't get any carrier your needle is not moving when tranmitting there is no rf power check to see if your tx light is on when depressing the mic button. you should have a rf adjustment turn it clockwise to turn the power up on the front of your radio.or the mods i gave you in the radio.

If you have talk back in this radio.( you hear your self through the radio when you transmit) then its a good bet that the RX wire in the mic plug has broken off.

The mic switch is responsible for putting the radio into receive mode when you release the key. If the RX wire is broken, the radio will not go into receive.

Normally when this happens you have no receive at all no matter what, but you will have very low sound if you have talk back installed in the radio.

Because of this, if you have talk back in your radio, and the volume is faint even at full blast, its a good bet that its a broken RX wire in the mic cord or plug.

You can attempt to see if the break is at the mic plug. if it is, you can re solder it and it will solve your problem. If you have no clue, then you can just go buy new 4 pin mic.

I think there is a problem with the microphone. get a technician to dismantle the phone and replace the mic

Check that the talkback cable is plugged in firmly both sides. Try a different XBOX controller, just in case the jack on the controller is worn and making bad contact. Try the X1 mic on a PC or laptop to make sure it's working. If none of these are the cause of your problem, you need a replacement talkback cable. Here's the link:

Please check if the color of your connector is in exact place. If you want to used mic please insert it to color pink or red then if you want to hear sometimes using your headphone plug it the connector for audio in green. Usually if your head phone has mic then the connector has two different plug for mic and audio out.

look for the mic terminals..you can use any phone mic of the same size as replacement

Check to see if the meter needle is swinging backwards when you key up. If it does your final may be bad. If the needle goes forward and others say they see your keying up but no sound your audio chip may be bad; especially if you have tried so many mics and antennas. If your radio has a swr warning light and it comes on this could extremely limit your range and others may not hear you and contiued use will damage your radio. Good luck!!!

Hey, stubby, Turn you mic gain wide open on the radio. That controls the modulation. Course if the radio has not been tuned that makes a big difference. Also the size of the antenna and how well it's tuned makes a big difference. Mechanic

this is a known problem with the helio ocean. call customer service and let them know your ear piece is not working anymore and they will send you another one in the mail.
