White line on screen

my sansa e200 has this white line going across the screen horizontally it still works all though it makes me really mad because i didn't get the warenty. i haven't droped it or any thing please help!!!!

Usually a white line straight across the screen indicates that the LCD screen has a bad row. There's not much you can do about it I'm afraid.

If you're mechanically capable, you can go to e-bay and pick up a non-working unit (for parts) and replace the screen on your working unit. I guess it depends on the cost of the unit. You might just be better off using it as is.

Try to format the SANSA E200.


You can do this by simply holding down the Power/Menu button for about 15 seconds. After the reset, any changes you have made to the e200 during its last use will be lost.

PLEASE RESET USING THE RESET PIN PRESENT IN THE SIDE.
AND FORMAT THE PLAYER . if this dosen't work your player is faulty

Horizontal white lines across top of TV screen

Hi I had the same problem. Broken white lines across the top of the screen. This is called overscan. You need to go into the Setup menu, other settings. 16:9 overscan needs to be on. Hope this helps.It solved our problem.
