Hi Eliza, Enabling and disabling the embedded numeric keypad
Press fn+num lock to enable the embedded numeric keypad. Press fn+num lockagain to return to standard keyboard functions.
NOTE:
The embedded numeric keypad will not function while an external keyboard or numeric keypad.
there is a key that will disable the keypad, it is usually on the edges of the phone, either the sides or the top. This should enable the keypad again once it is pressed a second time.
Sticky keys might be the problems. 1.Press SHIFT 5 times repeatedly 2.Cleanup the touchpad on the right corners ( unit OFF ) 3.Seem the PgUp and PgDn keys STICKY >>> try clean it with a dry soft brush
Just go to tools > settings > general > security > phone and simcard > keypad autolock period. then choose NONE, if ask for the code, enter your desire code or the default code will be 12345.
To disable the keypad tones, you need to go to the Menu, hit Settings and then Profiles. Choose your Profile and then hit Edit. Under the touch type, select No Feedback to disable the keypad tones.
