How do you check circuits using this model tester?

If you're using a neon lamp type spark tester directly to chassis or engine block then, yes they can light with current that is insufficient to effect sufficient spark. Try connecting in series with the plug or use a gap type tester or the actual plug.

The Kawasaki v-twin uses two separate ignition modules (magnetos with electronics) and although not impossible it is unlikely both would fail at the same time or one would fail and stop the other from working.

It is more likely a safety circuit is causing the no run state. For this model, locate the RUN relay and check that the WHT/BLK wire (magneto kill) is open circuit to ground (engine block). If there's continuity to ground then magnetos are killed. Ignition switch OFF or PTO switch ON and seat not occupied are other kill states.

There is a manufacture label located on each electronic "circuit tester".Contact them with your model number & serial number.
They will provide a reliable instruction booklet outlining the operation.

Circuit analyzer does not show all possible problems, and tester might be defective.
Use analyzer on other outlets.
Buy another circuit analyzer.
Buy a multimeter at local hardware, and test for voltage, and continuity, and compare with known outlet that are functioning correctly.
For example outlet may be 240Volt instead of 120V.

Hi,you may as well checked socket connecting the source.Now try to diagnose the problem.Try to connect other appliances using the source where dishwashers initially connected.If it didn't work there is a problem with your socket.If it does work.You can check the continuity of the circuit of yuor dishwasher using an ELECTRICAL TESTER/MULTITESTER.Set it to OHMS then connect both ends of the tester .If reading moves.or tester pointer moves at least to the maximum value or at least 90% of it.It means it does work.no problem with the continuityI but If it moves more than its maximum amount short circuit happened within the circuit..Continuity will test if short circuit happend, if there is a continues connection within the circuit .It tests if IC's inside the circuit has not been short circuited due to overheating..hope this helps..

Hi, on a 2005 coroll ce model both mirrors don't work the radio does the fuses check out ok had used a circuit tester light on the plugs but only hear a click sound the light doesn't light up on tester only a sound,could this be relay is bad?the switch itself or what else can itt be?hope for an answer!thank you

You'll need a circuit tester which is able to reach the ignitor. Check the circuit to ensure adequate amps reach ignitor coil. If the tester indicates a fault or short any new ignitor will simply fail after a use or 2. Also check the gas line were it enters the dryer. Many have an auto shutoff which cuts the gas off if it detects a problem. Some models also cut power as well.

BRAKE SWITCH B+ CIRCUIT IS OPEN OR BRAKE SWITCH HAS FAILED.

I would start by determining if these 6 outlets are on the same circuit. Also I am usually not too confident in the non contact voltage tester you are using. They tend to give false positives if they contact anything or even if you move them fast. I would invest in an inexpensive multimeter whcih will allow you to test actual voltage across the poles and ground and also check for continuity between poles/ground (WITH CIRCUIT OFF ONLY).
