I am trying to install ZTE USB FFF1 modem and installation is failed with a message "An error occured during the installation of the device" The system cannot find the file specified

did u uninstal drivers first?
might need to run as administrator.
let drivers search internet so it goes straight to windows. try windows update

I have a unlocked ZTE Mf190 USB-Modem. When I put the SIM card in it and connect it to the computer, I am able to connect to 3G Internet via beetel connection manager. Is it also possible to send and receive SMS. But when I try to make a voice call on beetel voice call panel, I receive this error message "Dialing failed! Please try again!" . And also when I use another phone to call the SIM card line number that I put in the USB-Modem, I receive busy tone

1 Restart the PC
2 Reinstall the software
3 IF still the problem persists then right click on My computer -->manage-->Devicemanager
4 Here if you expand device manager u will see the a yellow error message. simply reinstall the driver and it will work for sure.
5 have a run on your system for antivirus before doing all this.

Try uninstalling the USB root hubs in the device manager and then restart. They will reinstall upon the restart.

It may also could be a bad power adapter.

The ZTE modem when initially connected to any system loads as a storage device which contains the software necessary to install the modem. Connect the ZTE and open it in Explorer. Double click the setup file (.exe) to start installation. Follow instructions and allow installation to complete. The modem is automatically installed during this setup. Once completed restart and then your ZTE functions as a modem.

Possible solutions:
Remember you need to turn the camera on when transferring.
Try a different USB outlet
Try a different cable
Try a different computer.

If all fails please contact KODAK in order to arrange a repair or order a new cable. Remember you cable is covered under the same warranty as the camera, so if covered you need the serial number of the unit:

I was working at one of Lithuanian internet service providers. We often had clients complaining about ZTE 831 connecting through USB. The answer is - use a LAN card. Sorry.

Encountered error during installation of the device. The driver installation file for this device is missing a necessary entry.

Did you try to install the software, restart and then attach the device? Its the only thing I can think of to try. Also, check on the internet for updated drivers. I hope this helps although I am not very sure if it will or not.
