I bought a Megellan 1412 in 2009 and it was supposed to be good for the usa and Canada. When I got to Vancouver it would show me maps but I couldn't input postal / zip codes. I recently downloaded up-dates but I don't know if the system will work as I'm travelling in the next three weeks. My wife will be with me and I'm really bothered that she will get lost!!!!can you help please? andy.

At the main Menu, touch right arrow, select "User Options"-->Region and select the desire region.

Go to User option, choose region, select Canada. I have this unit. My problem is I can't input correct street address or street number. You can input 1500 but not 700 Ste-Catherine, Montreal, QC. The support told me to buy a better one. What I am going to do with this one?
