Our Comdial Impact system is working fine. We have recently removed three of the five telephone numbers at our firm. The Impact was originally set up to select line number 4 when someone picked up the phone to initiate a phone call. Now that line is dead, and when we pick up, there is no dial tone. We wish to change the system to pick up on line 2 (or line 1 if line 2 is busy) when a user picks up the handset. How do we do that? Thanks for your help!
That is not a user option it must be programed by a tech. it is a feature called idel line prefrence the other way iy can be accomplished is by using a hunt group but you will still need it to programed by a tech, you can contact me by email @ [email protected]
