Denatured alcohol is only necessary for cleaning stains which are difficult to remove from your quartz sink, such as ink, oil-based stains or paints, etc. These stains should be dealt with immediately by scrubbing with a cloth dampened with denatured alcohol (undiluted).

Expecially difficult stains can also be dealt with by filling the sink with a highly diluted organic cleaner such as bleach and let stand overnight, however this method only recommended for well ventilated areas for obvious reasons.

Normal day-to-day cleaning can be managed with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth.

How do I remove black water stains from normally oiled teak wood?

well 1st you need to determine what stains are made from ? if there a food stain then there most likely made from a grease of some sort , if this is so then denatured alcohol will take them off (with a bit of rubbing ) if there a rust or mildew stain then you'll have to use something stronger like muriatic acid (diluted w water 50/50) also note never add water to acid but instead add acid to water (yes it makes a huge difference) , this is dangerous stuff and all safe precautions need to be taken with it , this will also require all the teak oil finish to be reapplied after acid is neutralized with say baking soda and water (paste) and dried in air as this rough chemical will remove all the woods natural oils

while teak is a nice wood to have (beautiful looking) when something like this happens to it , it sure is a expensive wood to maintain

Put rubbing alcohol in washing machine

Run it with a FULL LOAD of water and detergent but NO CLOTHING. It will wash the rest out. If you are near a slop sink, you can just fill it with a hose to dilute any remaining fumes.

Water gone in my lenovo 450 model laptop, whta i wnt to do to repair it , how much cost it will take.

Welcome to FixYa! Based on your question, Lenovo does not cover water damage when it comes to warranty. The cost will depend on how damaged your laptop is(a friend of mine paid $256 due to hardware parts of the laptop needing to be replaced) and I suggest bringing it to a licensed computer technician to avoid unnecessary spending.
I use denatured alcohol (not rubbing alcohol, Denatured alcohol.) If you have any signs of corrosion then you should wet your board with the denatured alcohol then use a tooth brush to clean it. Thats what I do and most of the time it fixes it. Aside from that you could seal the pc in an airtight bag with some rice. The rice will **** up the moisture. Hope this helps. Thank you for using FixYa!

I have used Roundup weed killer in the past, and am satisfied. But I no longer have the instructions about how much product to mix per gallon (or quart) of water. I use small amounts, like a quart sprayer....

I have a 5ltr can of Roundup and the dilution ratio for general week killing is 1 part Roundup to 4 parts water. I use this ratio all the time and it workes a treat.

Plumber installed mocha e-granite sink and used white silicone! There is a bit around the drain now, sort of a halo... White film on my mocha sink. Should I try some denatured alcohol to clean it?

Just live with it for a few more weeks and see if the problem still bugs you.
I will guarantee you will be unhappier after messing with the minor halo.

1) This is because there is no home-use solvent that dissolves silicone.
You can try acetone or denatured alcohol but neither will work.
Only thing that removes silicone is a blade.

2) As a painter, I work with silicone caulk jobs all the time, because no paint sticks to silicone.
Silicone is a nuisance product to my profession.
Silicone does not cut off smoothly using ANY tool, even single-edge razor blade.
The edges tear, they do not cut.
So when you mess with it, the edges will tear up and the job will look WORSE the more you try.
I guarantee it will look worse.

Add a comment and let us know if you find a magic bullet solution for silicone.

What cleaning solution can i use to clean my plasma tv

Most people will recommend using just some distilled water or a very diluted solution of some mild detergent and water and a lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or ammonia based cleaners.
