KitchenAid dishwasher pump-motor

My dishwasher stopped working. After troubleshooting it I found the pump-motor to be bad. I took it apart last week and ordered a replacement part. The only problem is, after leaving it apart for a week I forgot how to I took it apart. I know, but I am old so just look over me. Anyway can anyone tell me how to put it back together? The model number is: KUDM01FKSS1.

Hi, this is a control fault that is localized in the logic sector of the control board. the logic chip which holds all wash programing is damaged. you will need to replace the control asap if possible...

Best way to troubleshoot would be to use a multimeter and measure the electrical voltage at the pump just before the pump is to activate, watch the multimeter display for a drop in electrical voltage, if it does drop to zero the electronic control board located within the door has failed.

Dishwasher starts then pauses and drains.
Fixed! I had the issue where the cycle would start, the KUDS30IXBL8 would hum 4-5 times and then drain. Plastic folk pieces jammed in the disposer. Kitchenaid Whisper Quiet + dishwasher making loud humming noise
Very likely pump motor shaft seal leaks water into bearing casing buildup of rust and consequently noise. I just replaced $112 worth of pump assy and it's back to normal. I would also buy repair manual for $10 on-line to be sure how to disassemble the sump to get to the pump.

No incoming water
I have the same type problem. Does your control panel light as expected? If so, remove the lower cover at the floor and take a pencil or screwdriver and spin the impeller ( at the beginning of the cycle) of the water pump to see if it will take off and pump water. If it does, you'll hear the water flowing into the washer. This is where I am in my troubleshooting. Our dishwasher will complete the cycle with clean dishes. I'm not sure if the pump is bad or if there is a control circuit for the pump. Hope this will help.

Maytag dishwasher MDB8600AWS
I have the same problem. I took the bottom sprayer assembly apart and found there is what Maytag calls a "seal kit" that has stripped threads. the part is plastic with a metal washer on the bottom and sits on top of the motor. To get to it, you have to remove the sprayer, shroud, pump housing and impeller. It is the part the impeller screws into, and may come out attached to the impeller.
I am have the part number as 99003341 and will be calling around for one later today. I will repost if this works.
