Hi
Error 62 is related to hot surface ignitor (HSI)or/nglo module

you can check the resistance of the ignitor should be less than 10 oms @ 20 degrees

failing that, if you incomming suppy exceeds 270 volt will also result in error 62

Testimonial: "The error did indicate an HSI problem but it turned out to be a fault on the circuit board of the control module, thanks anyway"

When it comes to error 62 resetting the unit probably won't work. Because the NG1/lo is INSIDE the heater it is subject to significant hot / cold temperature fluctuations - causing crystallisation in soldered joints on the PC board and a loss of electrical continuity.

Hi i have a brivis eh 30 unit that comes up with error 65 and 30 the display inside the unit says fan limp, if i reset it from the unit it works for about 1 hr then the same thing can anyone help please

Hi. Here are the error codes for your Brivis Heater. Error Codes 30 - relating to speed sensor, 40 - overheating, 65 - motor lock-out. Usually resetting the unit will resolved the issue. In your case, you already reset the unit and problem came back. This will require immediate attention by Brivis technician.

Brivis Heater help

These Brivis guys and girls are a rip-off. They are only out to take your money. Then can easily ask you to do just as mentioned above. And pronto all works in 3 minutes to be precise.
It is just the power supply reset required due to a fult being detected, either caused by a very low setting on the controller less than 16 degs. or a higher than 25 degs. setting causing overheating when the damper outlets are mostly closed.
So, put the power supply to heater off first, reset the heater panel, press the button again to shaow EMS on and then set the heater to the required temp. after turning on to the heating mode. That simple! That is if it is the error 71 HI.
