I have a Craftsman 32cc weed eater that will start fine, idle fine BUT when I go to give it gas to start trimming it wants to quit. I've cleaned the carb 2x’s, which seemed to make it start easier and idle better but didn't solve my throttle problem. I can feather the throttle and make it work, but my finger is getting very tired! Would like to just fix so it works right. Any suggestions????
Usually the diaphram is wore out. It is a relatively inexpensive part. Does it run better with a little choke? If the answer is yes chances are it's the diaphram. Also sometimes the adjustment screws can move. There are two, one for low speed, and one for high. With the engine warmed up make small movements on the screws (some are marked low, and high) in, and out adjust til the engine runs at its optimum.
Hope this helps!
