Hi Ken and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly.
These pumps are notorious for seasonal problems.
Tip the unit to the point you can pour engine oil into the water inlet connection. What your attempting to do is free up the ball seats in the pump. They get corroded when they sit and lock in place. Adding the oil or a vast amount of WD 40 to the water inlet often does the trick for loosening up the seat balls and springs.
After you add the oil (3 - 4 ounces) or WD 40 to the water inlet line just slowly pull the engine through with the ignition switch off. As the water inlet cavitates add more oil.
Let it sit over night and then take a block of wood and a hammer and tap on the power head. Don't over do it and do it in such a manner your not going to shear off any bolts or break anything. But... be serious with the hammer and block of wood.
Then connect inlet water hose, the pressure hose and test the unit. You may want to purge the oil lubricant into a bucket before you start the engine.
Give it a try and see what happens.

Thanks for using FixYa,
Kelly

You will have to pull the cord 5-6 times for the fuel pump to fill up the carburetor. The carburetor doesn't have any fuel. Over the winter the carburetor dried up.

Karcher Power Washer that surges up and down with water pressure.

Before you start it up:
1. Disconnect the high pressure hose 2. Connect the water supply and turn on 3. Make sure water is flowing through the pump
Start the motor, run for about 10 seconds and then turn off.
Turn off the water supply, connect the high pressure hose, turn water back on, start the motor and away you go.

My Karcher HD 1050 DE has lost pressure, ive had new valves put on it but still has no go in it

could be allsorts. seals worn. ceramic pistons split, inlet manifold split( frost damage), unloader valve sticking, etc etc.

Put mains water pressure onto it and look for leaks, then run machine and see if it increases pressure, if not i would suspect unloader valve sticking.....

Not very familiar with the 1050 but i'm a service engineer for high press cleaning equipment...

Karcher HD 655 S Does not come up to full pressure

yes...check the check valve. A one-way directional valve, this part is also known as a DUMP valve. It opens when too much pressure builds in the hand wand (when not spraying water) in order to protect the pump, by returning the high pressure to its source reservoir. I suspect the DUMP valve is stuck in open condition (or nearly open).
