Sandisk Sansa goes to blank screen. No display and not working

I pluged out Sandisk sansa e250 (2GB) from laptop. After that my Sansa is not working. When i press On/Off button it turns ON, the SanDisk logo display comes and then goes to black screen. No other response. If i hold On/Off for some seconds it switch's off. If i insert a Micro SD card in it and switch ON after SanDisk logo i get a message "Restart Database" with a progress bar. With in 2 seconds, just a small bit of progress bar filled it goes to blank screen again. But the blue light is ON. Please help me how can i rectify this problem. Thanks in advance.

Blank screen

Typically this is an indication that your battery is dead. If the music is still playing but the screen is blank I would say a hardware failure and replacement would be the best option.

Blank White Screen - No Menu Showing

My Sansa has a similar problem. Sometimes when the Sansa turns on (after the Sandisk logo) the screen will either turn black, blue, or black and white stripes. The player still works, but it is hard to navigate without the screen, obviously. What I end up doing is letting the backlight turn off and then pressing any button. Sometimes when the screen comes back, the display is allright again. But sometimes it takes more than a few tries. Turning it off and on again seems to work a little better, but it is more time consuming.
