SOURCE: Will only start water when in wash cycle

  • The diaper pail we suggest using is the size medium Diaper Pail with Carbon Filter, or, if you want a really big pail, the American Diaper Association approved 54 QT Diaper Pail. We sell them at Diaper Safari! They are nice and big andboth have a slot for a Citrus Circle which helps eliminate odors.
  • Try using a mild and environmentally safe detergent like: Bi-O-Kleen, Allen' Naturally or ECOS. You can also use Arm & Hammer for sensitve skin or Sensi Clean - do not use Dreft!
  • A Citrus Circle or a little baking soda some tee tree oil in the bottom of the diaper pail liner will help against odors.
  • Diaper Pail Liners can be our re-usable waterproof pail liners or standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bags.
  • Sprinkle a few drops of BacOut Stain & Odor Eliminator on the diaper if "poop" got onto the diaper itself.
  • Adding a few drops of Tee Tree oil to the main wash leaves diapers smelling fresh and kills bacteria - not for pocket diapers.
  • Sun-dried diapers and covers become snow-white. Try this as often as the weather allows.
  • Use the dryer for a few minutes to soften sun-dried diapers that get stiff.
  • Wash and dry new diapers one to five times before wearing - for unbleached diapers this will remove the natural waxes and will fluff up the cotton, which gives the diapers their absorbency. You will only need to wash the covers, Fuzzi Bunz and AIO once or twice at the most.
  • Spray any solids off with the Mini Shower - it makes makes cleaning cloth diapers very easy
  • Don't let wet and clean diapers sit in the machine overnight.
  • For serious stain you can try something like Spay and Wash.

SOURCE: washer will not drain after wash cycle or the spin cycle

check to see if your pump is slightly plugged with a sock or ?

Your top loader should pump out in about a minute and a half when totally full of water.

SOURCE: Incomplete wash cycle.

It sounds as if you have something acting as a flap causing the restriction. You should take the hose that leads from the tub to the pump off and see if there is anything just inside the tub. I have noticed that alot times you could have a coin that blocks the opening. You may have to remove the inner tub to remove anything in there

SOURCE: Washing machine does go thru spin cycle or drain water.

If the washer does not spin, take off the rubber bumbers inculding the little washers attached, inside the lid. It lowers the lid, which takes care of the problem. I had the same problem. Not anymore! Trust me, if nothing is wrong with any other part of the washer, this will work.

THE WASHING MACHING FILLS WITH WATER, GOES THROUGH

Most Likely it's the timer. try to move it by hand to the net cycle. If that doesn't work it's the contacts on the inside fouling up.

Washer won't wash

Hi!
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:
It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.
It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. See There's no cold water.
Please do rate this solution as FixYa and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

that is either a problem with the timer , or with the cold water hose at the back of the machine, see the following:

with the timer in the wash position on any cycle do you have 120 volts on the selenoids that the water hoses are connected to with the temp selector set for warm wash and timer knob pulled out? if you do then the water inlet valve is the issue, if no voltage you could have gotten a defective timer
