Emachines e725 Touchpad Not Working

Hello Iam Having Alot of Trouble With the Touchpad on Emachines model e725 ..i Tried Several Of The Solutions Like Takin out the Battery and Hitting ctrl +f7 but its still not working i have a usb mouse plugged in and thats working it just doesnt make sense it just stopped working yesterday

The eMachines E725 has a built in switch to toggle the touchpad on or off by the touch of a button. Look at the button to the left of the main power switch. You'll notice the icon looks like a hand touching a rectangle - or touchpad. if this button is lit up, the touchpad is turned off. simply press the button to toggle the touchpad back on. The light on the button should now be off.
It's that simple.

Most laptops are setup to turn off the touch pad when a mouse is plugged in. If you plugged it in because the touch pad stopped working, you most likely have a bad driver or touch pad has gone bad. Go to your manufactures web site and down load the latest driver and reinstall the driver. If this doesn't fix it your touch pad is most likely gone bad. However, if your not running an anti-virus there's a chance you've picked up on a virus or some malware.

Plug in a USB mouse and then try to download the Acer driver for your touchpad here: http://support.emachines.com/em/driver/index.html

If you install the newest driver off of the Emachines website, and the touchpad still doesn't work, then it is possible that the touchpad has gone bad.

Under MS Windows Vista, choose 9 depending on which camera you have. If you aren't sure, try installing both. It might tell you if you have the wrong driver when you try to install it. In that case download and install the other number 9 driver.

In my acer emachine e725, the touchpad scrolling is not working, anybody help please.
haave you recently opened the front portion of the computer up to replace a part ? there is a connection inside , perhaps it has dislodged itself from power.

do you have the service manual ? in it it esxplains (in brief) about the touchpad portion

apparentkly there is aon/off swicth
Touchpad toggle Turns the internal touchpad on and off.
