Could be one of two problems.

The Positive or Negative lead on the DC Jack has bad solder joint (replace)

Bad mosfet in the charge section of the laptop. Usually a AO4407 or FDS4435. (shop repair)

I forget my bios password how can i remove it my laptop acer extensa 5220

The most common way is to remove the CMOS battery and leave it out for anything between 5 minutes to an hour then replace it and restart.
You will probably have to open up your laptop to get to the battery.
You may find some codes to put in but they very rarely work.

My acer extensa 5220 wont accept power from its adoptor

Does the battery charge? Has the AC jack been damaged? Have you verified, with a multimeter, there is no voltage coming out of the AC cord/charger?

Acer Extensa 5235 wil not power on

The solution to your problem lies in one of the following three areas:

1.) Your charger is faulty and is therefore not able to pass power to your laptops battery.

2.) The charging connector on the laptop has come loose from the contacts. Therefore a bad connection.

3.) Your battery is faulty.

I think possibility 2 is the most likely, although you will have to test possibility 3 by removing the battery and plugging in your charger and seeing if the laptop powers on.If it does power on then that rules out possibility 1 and 2 leaving a faulty battery.

My acer extensa 5620z does not charge nor works connected

If thelaptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

My acer extensa 5220 doesnt charge and there are nil lights showing. How do i test the battery adapter. Or please suggest other options to try.

Unless you have a voltmeter or multimeter, then you can only test your battery charger by removing your batter and try to start up your computer with only your charger plugged in. If it boots up, then the problem isn't likely to be with your batter charger, but with the battery itself. Sometimes an adapter will power up a latop but not charge the battery.

My Acer Extensa 5220 just blinks the power green light when switched on and goes off immediately.? Can anybody assist?

Try reseating memory modules.

Try taking out all parts like Hard drive, memory, wireless card. Does it do anything? IF it beeps, then put the memeory back in and try again.

Reseat all of them. Then try. Then if you have two memory sticks try one at a time in different slots. If nothing changes.. probably a bad motherboard or processor. (motherboard is more likely)
