My RF10DC stopped working. I think the controller may have burned out. How can I verify this, and can I get a replacement controller unit?

If i remember correctly there is an inline fuse for that unit (more than likely tucked behind the radio) check that first. if its not there, just trace the wire back (from the changer) to its power source and see if that is getting power, there might be a factory fuse blown... let me know what you find. As for a replacement controller, i would contact Jensen directly, most of the time they can sell you one for a reasonable price. Why makes you suspect the controller, does the unit seem like it is still functional?

Hi I'm Steve... Amana SSE80 Furnace Model GUIC070CA40 MFG # P1229003F Furnace works but air handler blower stops after 5 1/2 minutes, burner continues till high-T limiter triggered (See details)

Motor might be bad and shutting down on thermal protection. Is this a direct drive or belt driven ? .if belt driven try adjusting the belt tension or just replaced the motor

I've heard this song before. You are on the right track.the solder joint that burns out feeds the heater relay which draws the most current.make sure you got a good connection at main feed.use ceramic wire nuts.possible bad heater but have only changed 1 out of hundreds of bsh repairs.lousy boards !!!

I have a Eureka Central Vac CV1601b. The motor does not stop unless the Unit is unplug from the electrical outlet. Any Idea?.I removed the control unit to check if there was disconnected wires or burnt...

If the unit is relay controlled, there is always the possibility that when the unit was turned on, the relay contacts welded themselves shut making the power button ineffective.

If you're familiar with relay pinouts, with the unit unplugged, verify the contact closures with an ohmmeter or continuity checker. With the unit unplugged, the relay contacts should be in their "normal" state (probably open).

Try gently tapping the relays to see if it can be freed that way. If that works, there's nothing stopping them from welding themselves together again. The relay may need replacement.

Cheers.

There is however a company that speacializes in suppling remotes for consumers that are no longer available. You will have to go to the link I am suppling, and leave the information on a request sheet and they will get back in touch with you on a price and availability. Good Luck GO HERE http://www.nlaremotes.com/request.htm

SEEKING DATA CABLE FOR JENSEN RF10DC

Go to this link and click "find a manual"; http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=13670&langId=-1 It is not for your model exactly, is for a rf10ch, but look on page 12 it shows the standard cable for this sort of unit - it looks like a 15 ft standard din 8-pin (7/1/315) connector. The cable should be well shielded. With this information any electrical shop should be able to make one up. or contact these guys - they have taken over customer service from jensen, but i am unsure how good they are - please post back if you have any feedback on this. Hope this helps :)
