Is there a way to make my laptop run faster by using a Wordpad code/trick? I found the info once before, saved it to desktop but lost it (before using it) after an emergency reformat. It supposedly worked on all PC laptops.
I think you're referring to making your PC run faster using notepad (although wordpad does have it's benefits, it's unlikely that it could be utilized to make your laptop faster). To do this you would need to open NOTEPAD. Once notepad is opened, type this: mystring=(80000000)
Next you'll want to save this file as: speed up.vbs
After that you'll need to open that file. If it's on your desktop just double click. If not, look in your documents then open it up.
***DISCLAIMER: this is not recommended if you're using your D800 for gaming. It has been known to cause it too heat up more than normal. Also, it may not speed your laptop up right away but it eventually works. DO NOT open it up over and over as this can cause it to work slowly as well. This is something that can be beneficial but you do so at your own risk. I hope this helps you. If so, please remember to vote.
