Black circles on left edge of lcd tv screen

They just appeared after turrining on one day and now another on the right bottom corner.no picture shows in the circles and on a black background the circles appear grey. Looking closly at them there looks to be veins of colors around where they hit the edge of the screen. The circles dont chage when the "frame" is squeezed but do change when they are touched. when lightly tapped there sounds to be a space between the screen and what ever is behind it any help would be great

link didn't work do you have a part number for an LCD screen and then I can go to the base of the link and find the number. Any idea how much a 40" lcd screen is.

isolating from the mains and spraying lightly with car windscreen

de-icer (isopropanol) wipe off any excess and leave in a warm spot for

Big black circle spot appears on the upper left side of the lcd

It seems your screen is bleeding. If it is not acceptable, then you can replace this screen.

Sansui 32't.v. when turned on get a lfirework looking spot in bottom left corner then looks like burst of fireworks throughout screen

sounds like a damaged screen on a LCD or a Plasma TV---if so it is fatal.

LG 47'' LCD HDTV 120Hz - Incorrect Picture Width

I just had this problem and got it solved. The issue is that your cable box is likely set to the wrong aspect ratio, so your tv will not be able to display the picture properly without this setting changed. On my cable box(Pace), you need to turn the power off to the cable box using the remote. Then hit the menu button on the remote and a new menu will appear on the screen. Change the aspect ratio to 16:9 and you should be all set. Hope this works for you too.

I have a black box in the top left hand corner of my screen it goes a way when the channel information bar comes on, when the channel information bar disapears the back boxes appears again and stays on

go to menu on tv...turn off pip or picture in picture....thanks and have a great day

Water damage on left corner black orbs on right corner that continue to grow bigger each day. lines (very thin on screen).

My daugther sprayed cleaner on our vizio tv screen, and now there streaks and a ***** of black pixels at the bottom. Is the tv junk now? Can it be fixed? Will it get worst? Thanks!

LCD SCREEN IS DAMAGED IT AS A BLACK CIRCLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN ONE IN THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND CORNER NO IMAGES SHOW UP ON IT IT IS JUST BLANK

there is only one way out, you need to replace the lcd screen (only screen)
there is no chance of repair in your old screen

Screen split with black bar through center, top of picture shows in bottom

It sounds as you desribe, the vertical output IC and or the b+ feed capacitor off the Hi voltage transformer feeding the vert. IC its required voltage. Not a really hard job to replace, but not for a handi person to do. This should be left to the professional, as there are no user serviceable parts inside this set and with the HI voltage and the safety issues its best to call somesone to assist you with this repair.
