Hi i canot use my yahoo messenger propertly because if i well click the ym then it well ask question if i well allow the ym to be open.. then i well click saddenly its well came the screem is so big i need to go to persolization, then i well click display setting, then its well come back to normal size, what need to do

i got the same problem with my ym 11 too.. but honestly looks like its ym problem that it may just work whenever it want to.. :( but try this.. open Yahoo Messenger click on "Messenger" (on top), choose "Connection Preferences" select "Connect via Proxy Server" try to log in ..
if it doesn't work put it back to the original settings, same instruction go to YM, click Messenger then Connection Preferences select "Connect directly to the Internet".. this time try to disconnect your internet connection first.. and then with your YM open enter your username & password but dont click "connect" yet.. connect to internet & log in to ym (you should click "connect on ym right after a second you are connected to the internet)
If YM (Yahoo Messenger) is not opening or not working properly, I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall it to your computer. Pls follow the steps below.
Uninstalling/removing YM:
Click Start> Control Panel>> Add and remove Programs, click.
On this page, look for Yahoo Messenger and click Remove, stay there until the page reopens with no Yahoo Messenger there. ReStart your computer, do not miss this step! To reinstall YM to your computer, Visit this website http://messenger.yahoo.com/download/ and click download now.

try to uninstall the program restart your PC after removing it. download the latest version of YM and install it. you should be able to open your YM after doing the steps.
Try uninstalling your existing yahoo messenger and install the latest version. If that does not work, try creating a new user on that computer and open yahoo messenger from there. If that works, then the user you have been using with that problem is corrupted and needs to be recreated.
Click the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Connection Preferences."
2. Enable the "No network detection" option and then click the "OK" button at the bottom of the window.
3. Yahoo! Messenger will ask you if you want to sign in again with your new proxy settings. Click the "OK" button.
4. Enter your Yahoo! ID and password and click the "Sign In" button.
you may have a registry problem download registry cleaner reg in out to fix the issue
