select the flash mode properly ,fully charged mode/auto charged if u do not get fired the flash unit is defective,to be replaced

you need to use regular batts, then change the setting to rechargable

try wiping the screen. maybe its fuzzy. wipe the lens, too. maybe there is a chraging problem

How old are your camera and memory card? Both will eventually wear out. Digital cameras are generally good for so many shots. The same goes with the cards. I would personally try a new card and see if it helps.

Please remove the batteries from the camera and wait 20 minutes if possible set to factory setting .

How do you get the camera back to the original settings

I also have the same problem! I absolutely love this camera but suddenly out of the blue I have stripy lines on the screen that look like you are looking through a venetian blind. I have contacted Fuji but they say it will cost £99 to repair or have offered £50 discount on any other camera. I just want my F460 working ok. Please, please can anyone help us?

i would suggest taking batteries out overnight and letting the camera discharge the stored power. then trying it again. also make sure what mode your in because the shake warning makes certain lights flicker

hello Musicman, I think you can snap but not get view on lcd right ? and there is whole black on display right ? If so i think there is some problem with CCD and if ccd is damaged so no one can help you you have to replace it in fuji shop. good luck....
