I-mate Qtek. Need to change the language on an i-mate Qtek. Need a manual so I can change/convert the whole phone language setting to English. Please Help!

Hi Mate,

The default language is determined by the SIM card. But if you need to change it, here's how.
1. Press Menu, scroll to Settings (wrench icon) and press OK.
2. Select General and press OK.
3. Select Language and press OK.
4. Scroll up / down to select a language, then press OK.

The default language is English but you can change it to French or Spanish if wanted.

yes you can change it via editted rom file with hex editor change it GER to ENG

today i am going to show you how to change language arbic to english. First you go on
control panel. And then you see there regional languge you can see there lot of languge you.
Now wich language do you want you then you select that's it .

Language Preferences:

Change language and regional settings:

The style in which numbers, currency, dates, and times are displayed isspecified in regional settings.

1. Tap START > Settings > System tab > Regional Settings.
2. On the Region tab, select your region and language.
3. The region you select determines which options will be available on the other tabs.
4. To customise settings further, tap the appropriate tabs and select the desired options.

And Tap the Multilingual Support then tick "Disable Multilingual Support"
That's it you are good to go! Enjoy your Imate!

reset the phone.. master reset.. on start up, it will ask a long message with "ACCEPT" and "REJECT" as choices. In that if u click "REJECT", it will install the interface in English. If you choose "ACCEPT", it will install in Arabic.

Hye! Download 'Schap's Advanced Config 2008' from the web; its free... or you could also use 'Diamond TF3D Config' - both are free tweak-applications; that can help change many setting in addition to its ROM language... try it... Enjoy1
