3.3 revo hard to start after started it will not idle and when it dies it does not want to restart. This did not happen until I drve it thru alot of wet grass last year

Sounds like you are starved for fuel. Look for a pinched off fuel line or a plugged up fuel filter. That would be my first place to start. Possibly even a bad petcock on the tank.

90% of idle problems, hard start problems, erratic idling, surges, hesitation etc is caused by a dirty throttle body. Remove it, clean it and the intake manifold, replace and it should solve your problem.

It dies only when you accelerate from idle?

Sounds like a faulty idle air control valve.
The computer controls idle speed by regulating how much air enters the intake thru the valve.
Could also have gum-sludge in the throttle body.

How is your oil pressure sender?? The fuel pump runs thru it after start. Watch the gauge while cranking It may give indication

only half way there if you have a tbi check the crank sensor/ cam sensor that is the first line of business on that truck if the crankshaft sensor fails the truck stops dead when you wait a few minutes the sensor re energizes and the truck will work again for a bit antiknock can cause similer problems but not while the truck is running
