Very littel sound in white and black keys. normal

Very little sound in white and black keys. normal sound in drum sounds.
all ligths are on- when all is max volume you can hear a little sound from the keys.
as I don't have a diagram of the organ i don't know if the rigth voltage is where it should be. I have measured voltage in different places and theres is voltage/power in components underneath the keys.
Drums have all sound - the speakers are working.
any thougths on the problem ?

We can only guess at what model/brand you have.

OFTEN such low volume things can be traced to a burned out light used in some expression pedals that use light dependent resistors to vary the volume.

Be aware that on some organs things like rhythm drums MAY go through a different set of speakers and amps than the other voices.

I recently bought two Alesis Quadrasynth Plus Pianos, complete, but not funtioning correctly. One looks relatively new, but has a solid white screen and makes no sound when fired up. The other is visually...

Assuming you've tried rebooting the white screen one? If so, You need to take both to a qualified repair man and get the job done right. If you start swapping parts without knowing what works and what doesn't, you risk screwing up the good parts,

I have the Simmons SD7PK. It sounds as though the speakers to my amp or through our PA system are busted. What could be causing this?

First thing is to verify your sound system is OK by running program material such as a CD at normal levels through it. If it is OK then you need to consider if your drum set is overdriving your sound system. Drums generate high pulses and can easily saturate PA systems. First thing here is to connect headphones to your drum set and listen how the set sounds via headphones. If both these tests pass muster, then your PA system may be too small to handle the drum audio. In that case, get at least a 15 inch powered monitor, preferably bi-amped to run the drums through.

Hi, I just got a new williams allegro digital piano, and the right speaker sounds noise with low keys.

If this is a brand new unit, exercise your warranty!

BUT FIRST see if packing material worked through the speaker grill... you know littel pieces of the packing peanuts or otherr contamination that sits in the speaker cone and rattles.

CAN I FIT A FENDER STRAT PICKUP IN THE MUD

The Fender pick up has two wires, blue and white. The Jackson has four: red, green ,black, and white.

1st. Determine the hot wire and the ground wire on the Jackson pick up and then just replace the Jackson pup with the Fender pup. White on the Fender is the hot lead and blue is for the ground. If you hook it up backwards it will be out of phase with the other pup's and will sound thin and weak when selected with either the rhythm pup or the lead pup. Of course, by itself it will sound normal because switching the wires only changes the phase of the Fender pup.
On the Jackson pup, the green and black are ground while the white and red are the hot side. Just solder the white lead of the Fender pup to the pup selector hot side and the blue lead to the ground.

How to remove key from yamaha p80 electronic piano

This pertains to the white keys. If you need to take out a black one, you MUST remove the white ones alongside the black one first.

You push the back end of the key forward (takes a little bit of force) and then lift the back a bit to dis-engage it from the back rail. There is a flat spring under the key. Note how it sets in place.

When re-installing make SURE you get the front of the key engaged with the little lever before attempting to push it forward and down to re-engage the back in the rail.

Original circa 1982 Kurzweil Ensemble Grand upright, has been working just fine until today. At first the (grand piano) sound had just become very distorted or seemed to have messed up sustain or echoing....

Given its age, this unit needs a little TLC. Units of that vintage used some capacitors that may have dried out a bit and need to be replaced. There are also op-amp ICs internally that may be defective. I would suggest a visit to a service shop that works on keyboards as not all do.

Keep us posted.
