Fuse keeps blowing La Pavoni Europiccola 1996

Hi That's a short it's all it could be isn't it. Plug? lead? water or damp in the base? try slipping the black base off you will need a security bit to get it off or at least mine does its a t bit with a hole in the middle I think, have a look for water that might be shorting it out also try it in another socket , you never know.

Best of luck.

Yes there is a thermal fuse and a hi limit switch. The hi limit switch is attached to the heating element casing. You said the heating element checks out If you checked it with an ohm meter and it checked out good. If you checked it visually double check it. The hi limit can be checked with an ohm meter it should show continuity. If you dont have a ohm meter you can jump the wires by connecting them using a paper clip or copper wire. Make sure to tape them with electric tape. The thermal fuse is connected with the Heating element and hi limit by one wire and is located at the bottom back of the dryer and slightly to the right as you face the back of the dryer. It is a small two wire fuse and once it trips you have to replace it you can check it and test it just like the hi limit switch. Be careful and always unplug the dryer before starting any repairs. I hope this help. If you need me to clarify anything just let me know. good luck

My dryer runs but has no heat. I have replaced the thermal fuse. I have checked the breaker, cleaned out the lint trap and checked the air flow which is good. I do not have a volt meter. Kenmore Electric...

Hello there :
There are severaol things that could cause this to happen
Things to check are :
- house fuse or breaker ( needs two of them ), heating element, burnt wire, thermostat(s), thermal fuse ( not all models ), motor heat switch, timer, selector switch, burnt power cord/plug.
I know that you have checked the thermal fuse so you dont have to worry about this.ok

Hope thatthis is very helpful

First Cup Is Cold From La Pavoni Europiccola

If the machine works great after the first cup then it is possible that the heat for your first espresso went to heating the portafilter or the cup used to brew into, try warming the portafilter first by running some hot water through it first.

Adding pressure gauge to Pavoni Europiccola

  1. in the boiler water is heated and presured up to 1.5 bar
  2. when water gets in lever and non return valve closes becouse you press the lever down, your energy is used to get high pressure, it should be frpm 7 up to 9 bar.
  3. SOLUTION==if you search way for modifying, you must consider that you must pump directly to group, not to boiler. in this case water will be cold (becouse comes from pump). you will need boiler in boiler to heat the water wich comes from pump before it gets to group. this is bit more complicated than you thought may bee but it is only solution.

The water no longer heats up - the lights are on...

There is a 'magic' fuse button hidden in the base of the unit, concealed by a rubber gromit. Pull out the gromit, press the red button and it should come back on.
