When I try to turn tv on it does its standard pop and click but no picture comes on. Stand by light flashes 6 times before pause.

I did that and got it on again, then the power went out and I can't get it back on. I have read about a D board going bad. How much is one and how do I get it? Also read about A-1300-319-A is that the same as the D board? Mine is a KV36HS500 Sony Trinitron

I had the same problem. I took off the back and blew out the dust with compressed air, and it came back on.

Our Trinitron KD-27FS170 Tv will not turn on. It sounds like it is turning on/off but no picture or sound. The Stand-by/Timer red light is flashing 4 times, pause, then 4 times, etc.

This typically means you have a bad capacitor, you can inspect for any swollen or bulging capacitors however unless familiar with desoldering boards best leave it to a repair technician.

TV popped and shut off red light flashes 5 times then pauses

this specific type of TVs flash their standby light if the onboard testing system sniffed out a problem

so, as if your TV is trying to tell you "i have a problem and i need to be serviced"

i hope it goes well for you

the four flash is a signal, it means either faulty power supply or deflection circuit trouble.
