You will need a menu button to get to setup or channels for you to autoprogram the tv to find ALL the channels. AUTOPROGRAM is the word you need to find. If there is a menu button on the tv, then you can probably do it from there. If not, then you need the original remote from Admiral or at:

I recently received an admiral tv and i was looking for the audio and video jacks/ports and could not find any... are there any ports? it is n admiral tv and the model # is GOJ 12028

If there are no A/V jacks on the set you can get a RF modulator. They are cheap on Ebay and work great. All you would do is plug in your A/V plugs into the RF modulator and then plug in a coaxial cable on the output of the box then plug the other end to the input coaxial cable jack on the TV. Make sure your TV is on the channel your RF modulator specifies.

Zenith PV4663RK Rear Projection TV - Manufactured - Mar. 1995

Hi,

Are you connected to cable TV using a digital receiver? If so, your TV can only get the signal for one channel - the one you're tuned into on your receiver. A workaround is to connect the coax cable TV cable directly to your TV, as well as connecting your receiver to your TV. This will allow you to be able to change the channel on your receiver and be able to change the channel on your TV to one of the analog channels you can tune into by connecting the coax cable directly to the TV.

Bought new samsung dvd/vcr. have an older admiral tv with just a cable hole. this is the second tv on a dish network, so this tv only has a cable, the box is in the living room. so how do I hook this...

The easiest way to make it work is to:
1- run your cable into your new VCR to CATV IN.

2-Your VCR should have come with a short length of cable. Connect it from the OUT jack to the TV.

3- Set the TV to either channel 3 or 4- you need to check the VCR manual to see which channel you have to use. Some VCR's have a small switch labeled "channel select"- if so, set it and your TV to the same channel... your choice.

4- Leave your TV on the channel you set above all the time. You will now change your channels using your VCR. You will be able to record whatever you are watching.

We have an older model tv and can't figure out how to get the channels to above 69

Channels 2 to 69 are over the air - Antenna - channels.

Channels 2 to 125 (some duplication) are Cable channels.

There should be a way to switch your TV to Cable channels.
If it's really old there may be an Antenna/Cable toggle switch on the back of the TV.

Most newer TV's have a way to get a Menu that you can use to switch between Antenna and Cable. Check on your remote control.

If neither of those you'll probably need to buy a new TV.

I don't recall the exact incantation, but one of the menus will allow you to change the TV from Air channels to cable. You are currently in the antenna mode. Only channels up to 12 will be even close to the cable ones. On a set of that vintage, there may even be a slide switch on the front of the set.

Lisa, your set is switched to antenna mode, (roof top type antenna) you need to find the switch usually located inside a little door on the front of the tv and switch it to "cable" position.
If the tv is not that old than it will be located in the tv`s menu listing which is electronically set not a slide or push button, either way that`s your problem , good luck finding the switch it`s there somewhere.
