BUT WANNA BE FERSURE, N I NEED TO FIND THE WIRE HARNESS IN THE REAR Cuz my car dosent come with the stock amp or any rear trunk speakers at all. But i have found random harness plug n play left rear behind my seats running towards the trunk from what looks like the wiring from the door but i wasnt 100% n didnt want to take my door off. If anyone knows if im on the right track please let me know. Ive been researching every night and have spoken with ford and Crutchfield and the ford SHO forum page havnt found exactly what im looking for
Then the circuit that the fuse powers up is shorted to ground somewhere. You will need the wiring diagrams to track that down, there is no magic fix. You can buy a uesd factory wiring diagram book here
Get the Haynes auto manual for the 2000 Ford Taurus at any auto parts store in the back it will have wiring diagrams of the entire electrical system look for fuse it is represented by a s picture, make sure that your looking at the correct year and model these books are at your local library if you don't want to spend the money you can make a copy of the pages you need instead of having the entire book,, (Having the manual over the years will come in handy )
Go buy a wiring kit from autozone or walmart....Just look up your year of car and it clicks right into your factory wiring...Then all you have to do is color code your wires fromm the stereo that you're putting in.
Here are the factory wire colors, please rate this solution to your problem, a note any stereo store that sells auto decks has adapter wiring harnesses to do a direct plug in of your DIN standard radio you are trying to install, no cutting of the factory harness, they are cheap
