My whirlpool AWZ510E washer dryer - the dryer doesn't seem to be working - it goes through the cycle but the clothes are still as wet as before. I am using the same cycle as I always have which used to work.

There are 3 reasons for a dryer not doing the job yet running through the motions. 1st, the heat is not being produced and only cool room temp air is circulating. this can be a burned-out electric element or an over-heat sensor, or in0line safety fuse. ( if gas, can be ignitor or gas valve coils).. It could be that the washer is not ringing (spinning) dry the clothes verywell and there is too much moisture stiil in clothes which would double the dry time from 50-60 minutes to 2 hours. 3rd, could be clogged vent line and the hot moist air cannot leave the dryer so the clothes get hot by the moisture stays.

Most likely the venting is restricted or fully clogged. We clean dryer vents professionally and have seen it over 10,000 times. Call a local dryer vent cleaning specialist if you can't do it your self.

How do I change the rinse cycle on CAE2743BQ

They... SHOULD be somewhat wet, Donald This isn't a dryer, it's a commercial washer. After washing your clothing, you'll need to dry them.

Why is there water in my dryer

Sounds to me like your washer is not going into spin cycle, and someone is throwing sopping wet clothes into your dryer. Do you have kids that cannot understand that you cannot stuff the hell out of your washer or dryer, because the clothes need room to tumble, agitate etc? Some 30+ year olds cannot seem to grasp this in my house, but then, they think that electricity is free too.

Why doesn't Cabrio washer wash the clothes?

This model has gone through different control board revisions, could be control board related, service mode would have to be accessed to have machine run thru self-diagnostics. if it does not agitate on self-diag mode, unit needs board

Broken washer/dryer

This sounds like a motor control board is faulty. Please load a couple of towels in the machine run it. Watch the machine as it goes through its' cycles.

1. Do the towels tumble when the machine is washing ?
2. When it begins to spin, does it spin one way at a fast pace or does it spin one way and then the other ?

Answering these two questions will help in troubleshooting your problem.
