I want to delete my Facebook acount because I lied about my age. How do I delete it for good?

You cannot delete a facebook account, facebook only allows you to deactivate it.
How to deactivate your account

1. Click the downward arrow at the top right of any Facebook page.
2. Select "Settings"
3. Click "Security" in the left column.
4. Choose "Deactivate your account", then follow the steps to confirm.

You need to sign in to Facebook, and right click at the top of the menu bar, where it says privacy or account info. And you need to tell them that you want to delete those 2 accounts. But you have to log in twice to do both accounts separately.

How old are you?You can put your year of birth as 1984 etc to say your over the appropriate age but if you are reported to facebook as under age you may have your account closed down its to protect the under age children as the web is full of unsafe danger..

If you do not want to be connected to facebook anymore, you will need to delete your account.

How?
log in to your account.

Click Submit button to permanently delete your facebook account.

Email Facebook directly.

The email is: [email protected]. Request that Facebook deletes your account.

Wait to get an email response from Facebook confirming that your account has been permanently deleted. This should take a few days.
