I have an attorney who has a Jabra 250 headset but no longer has the information on how to pair it with his phone or the pairing codes to use. He just recently got a new Blackberry so now we are trying to pair it up but without the codes and instructions, I am at a lost.
To make this complete: You need to turn off the headset (hold call button several seconds until it makes descending tone). Then hold button to turn on and keep holding 8 seconds more until blue light is on solid. Then initiate pairing at phone, and enter 0000 as the code.

Usually the Jabra headset connects via blue tooth. You pair it with a smart phone once. No codes other than the pairing number you see on the phone when starting the pairing process.
I see that you need information regarding your Jabra Bluetooth Headset.
*Once the Light on the Headset is constantly lit it means that it is ready for pairing.
*On you Mobile phone go to Bluetooth it should be detected as soon as you set your mobile phone's BT to be discoverable.
*Select Connect/Accept/OK or which ever options you Mobile Phone will provide when pairing with your headset.
*The pairing code will be " 0000 "
This should help you pair up your headset with any Mobile phone or device that uses Bluetooth.
1. Switch Bluetooth headset off.
2. Press and hold the answer/end button until a solid blue light comes on. Headset in pairing mode.
3. Go into phone's bluetooth options and "search/look" for devices. you should see the headset.
4.Pass code is "0000"
should connect and be good :)
hope this helps
Hi, It all depends. When you want to connect a blue tooth to a phone, You will need to switch on the blue tooth device and the phones blue tooth you are pairing with.
When pairing both device, you will ask for pairing code, You four digit numbers(default code(0000). and pair.
After pairing both device, you detected paired, you can now use the blue tooth device with your phone.
there are no special code for pairing Blue tooth device. Normal codes used are any four digit, four numbers you want to use.(0000, 1234).
To connect a jabra 250 to the Nokia 6300: On the Nokia go to menu > settings > connectivity > bleutooth = select and the next line = visible
On the headset when it is off > push the upper button for ± 8 seconds until the lamp is burning constant and release this button.
Choose on your Nokia on the same bleutooth menu > search audio....
It will be pairing in a few seconds . It will ask if it is ok to make the connection.
The password is "0000" and push on "yes"
I hope you cann understand my english, I'am dutch.
Check that both devices are BT enabled and in pairing mode -ie, leds blinking-. If one of the device is not in pairing mode, it is normal that the process fails.
If you experience the same problem on other phones with your Jabra BCE-250 -same as mine-, you might think of getting it checked first.
Make sure the Jabra headset is set to pairing mode, otherwise the phone cannot find the headset. The manual should have instructions to set the headset in pairing mode. While the headset is in pairing mode, have the G1 search for the headset (Settings > Wireless Controls > Bluetooth Settings). When it finds the headset select it and type 0000 for the PIN code.
With headset off... turn on bluetooth search from the phone. Hold on button on headset until light turns solid blue. Then search for connection from phone. (code is 0000 (4zeros))
The actual problem was Plantronics, I was not turning on pairing mode. I was confused with quick pair which starts not immediately after turning on, but you need to hold the button longer until led will start blinking blue and red.
