I need a MP3 adapter for a Pioneer Super Tuner D marine Stereo

Assuming that you're not trying to connect an iPod or iPhone, you will need an additional adapter. For your particular unit, that will be a Pioneer CDRB10 Auxiliary input adapter for P-Bus receivers (approximately $40). You'll also need a stereo mini plug to RCA adapter (about $15 for a good one of around 6 ft). You'll plug this adapter into the headphone jack of your MP3 player and the RCA ends of the adapter into the RCA ends of the Pioneer CDRB10. Then for the hard part, you'll need to plug the other end of the Pioneer CDRB10 to the rear of your stereo head unit. That will mean pulling the unit out and doing some fishing so that the wires are hidden and leading to a location where you can functionally attach and detach your MP3 player.

I have the DEH-1200MP model super tuner 3 and it would not power up after battery died and was jumped. There is a fuse at the back of the stereo that I unplugged and plugged back in and then the stereo powered up. I had already checked all of the other fuses. Took me a while to figure this out.

If you changed the rear DIN cable to AUX with an adapter, you may need to turn the AUX/Changer feature on. Pioneer is not a brand I sell, but I am pretty sure you just go through the menu to turn it on. If you can't find the option in the main menu, try turning the deck off, and accessing the menu there.

Without the model number of your super tuner, it's not possible to point you to a specific location for the wiring diagram.

I'd start with Pioneer support to see if they have a download for the manual. If that fails, try the manualsonline site. Manualsonline is not a free site.

ok what u do is turn radio off hit clock so that it displays the time then hold audio button in until clock starts flashing then use your arrow ****. not your vol. ****.

Once you've connected your ipod (or whatever mp3) select function and keep pressing till AUX is displayed. You then need to use up/down arrows to change the settings to on. It should then be added to the source list along with tuner/cd. Make sure you the mp3 is connected first or it wont be on the function options!

If it's been installed with the original DIN mount, there are 2 small flat clips that slide in a small slot on each side of the radio. The 2 pieces of metal are pushed in to release the clips holding the radio in the bracket. Then the radio pulls out

Those clips come with the Pioneer stereo but should be available from a place that sells/installs car audio
