At the post go into bios and press F9 or you can do a complete reload or recovery as new from comp or disc this will give factory settings.

perhaps the resolution is set to a value that the monitor cant display (try other monitors) or if using windows tap F8 at start up and start in SAFE MODE this will start the display driver in minimal resolution and if alls ok you should see a picture

Relay switch

Check your Power management settings - either through Control Panel in Windows or go into BIOS. Set for minium or Always on. That should sort your peoblem.
