NO POWER

Need to know how many times the led is blinking.

Try this link for more informationmessage_type_solution.png

Re: tv kdl-55ex620 red light blink 8 times Do a Power Reset. 1. While the TV is off, unplug the power cord of the TV from the electrical outlet. 2. Let the TV remain without power for 60 seconds. 3. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet. (If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.) 4. Turn on the TV. 5. When the TV powers on and a picture is displayed, reset the TV to factory default settings.
  • If the Reset message does not appear and the TV turns off and on, begin again from step 5.
  • If the standby light begins blinking eight times, return to step 1.
6. After the Reset message appears, allow the TV to reset. Do not press any buttons on the remote control or on the TV and do not make any other adjustments for 1 minute. 7. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. 8. Allow the TV to remain without power for 10 seconds. 9. Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet. 10. Turn on the TV.
  • The initial setup screen displays if the above procedures were performed correctly.
11. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial set up. 12. Perform a system software (firmware) update.

I have a Sharp flat panel model LC-20SH4U. The units power LED light is red. No effect (sound or picture) when remote or on/off switch is activated. The LED light slightly blinks.

Resetting the TV
If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:

NOTE:
Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time.

clip_image001.jpg
1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet.
2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...)
3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds.
4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV.
5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again.
6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices.
7. Turn on the TV.

Hope this may help;

Go to av mode without remote in toshiba 27d46 tv

Here is a manual for that tv. Page 27 says to push the tv/video button but that is on the remote. Do you have a tv/video button on the tv itself? If so, push it until it cycles through to the video input you want

Sony kp-65wv600 projection tv error code. My tv blinks 7 times.

Hi,
The Standby LED blinks when the TV is turned on, then shuts off when the picture is displayed. If the LED blinks continuously, this may indicate that the TV requires service. Before getting the TV serviced, try power resetting the TV and factory resetting. Try the below steps also: Connect the TV to a different wall outlet and check if it helps. This is to check if the issue is with the Power. Disconnect the TV from the Power Strip or the Surge Protector and connect it directly to the Wall outlet and check if it helps. To Power Reset the TV, disconnect the Power cord for a short period of time (approximately 1 minute). Then, reconnect the Power cord and power ON the TV. To factory reset the TV, turn it ON. Then while holding down the RESET button on the Remote Control, press the Power button on the TV front panel. The TV will turn OFF and then turn ON again. Then release the RESET button to complete the reset procedure. If the issue persists, service may be required.
Good Luck!!

My toshibia model 27d46 tv will not turn on

Toshiba flat-screen digital SDTV, 27", won't turn on. Was difficult to turn on for awhile, but some channels had no sound, others that were in English usually, would suddenly turn into Spanish language. A loud static noise would occasionally come on, and then go. TV just won't even turn on now. Is there any possible repair that would be less expensive then replacing the set? I can't lift the set,as it is much too heavy. I'm a senior, and I'm strong, but not that strong.
