Not worth fixing,if LCD,Plasma,DLP screen pannels is damage or broken only worth as salvage electronics boards parts.Because the tv corporations produced it limited LCD,Plasma or DLP screen pannels. They're the only one able to sell u the screen pannels, but they will sell it to u same as a new tv,might even cost more after the Plasma screen part is put in.Because of the labors.

It cost the same as a new tv to replaced the screen panel's.That why people get rid of it.U can salvage the electronics boards parts for ur future tv,if u buy the same make and model,Sony Bravia '40 Plama tv in the future.

The screen on my plasma tv cracked. i looks very minor but when i turn on the tv the power light flashes a few times and then finally comes on but there is no picture. is there something i can do get get...

I am sorry to give you the bad news..... Your TV is finished.

Plasma sets operate by creating a plasma between two glass panes spaced very closely together. A vacuum is created between the two panes and is it backfilled with a very small amount of rare gases.

When one of the panes is cracked, air enters the space and the set is no longer capable of producing a plasma.

We just purchased a 50" PLasma Samsung Flat Screen TV withing the last month. As my husband was hanging something it fell on it and cracked the screen. We still get a picture but it has a circle about...

It a lost cause can't repair Screen panels, only replaced them. The screen panels are limited produced by the tvs industries. They're the only place u can buy it from, they'll charge the screen panels same as a new tv.Sorry ur tv it not worth as a whole tv anymore, only as salvage electronic circuit boards for parts now. This is a new tv right, call Samsung, talk to them, buy a new tv directly from them. They'll give u some credits for the returning the damage tv unit with a screen panel damage to them.

H 50HDT50 Plas, turned it on,it pop'd,no pic but still has sound

Nothing you did caused this problem. It's starting to be a common occurrence on many flat screen TV. Usually, a loud pop has to do with a bad capacitor or a mini transformer. Basically, it's a part on the circuit board that supplies power for the screen. Most TV repair shops will charge about $300 to $400 to replace the bad circuit board.

It's cheaper to find someone that has some electronic experience to repair the board itself with a $10 part. A service manual for the TV can be found at this web site link here. Should cost less that $20.

This manual will have everything the electronic tech needs for repairing the board. Part number lists, schematics, and diagrams for the TV.

Very faint picture but sound is fine on my 50" Zenith plasma

Sounds like the Z-sustain board went bad. You will need the board replaced so make sure you find an LG authorized servicer.
