That is the good question. What I would do go to auto zone and check for the code it is free. Clean throttle body and changed fuel filter. Tune up, could be plugged up catalyst converter.

The engine and transmission in this cars drivetrain are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s)

not the cannister but the vent control valve or solenoid
will allow you to fill faster
code refers to EVAP system

its could be an 02 sensor. they are very wierd when they start goin bad your check engine light will do that for prolly another month an then it will stay on it causes your gas miliage to go down alil but thats it there about 60 bucks a an auto zone or parts witch every you go to same price.

Start with the simple and replace your fuel filter, air filter and clean your MAF sensor. You can buy and MAF sensor cleaner at Auto Zone and the fuel filter also. While your there Auto Zone can scan your Saturn for any DTC codes that my be causing your engine performance issues, Auto Zone scan free of charge and if there is any DTC codes. They can give you the information to what needs to be done to get your Saturn running 100% again soon.

You didnt say if the check engine light is on? Take it to auto zone or advance auto parts store and they will plug it into diagnostic computer and let you know what sensor is bad for free. My guess? manifold pressure sensor. Good luck, dont forget to rate

they just hired some ******** college graduate to confuse normal people.
you can take your car to Autozone and they will check your codes for free,one of the sensors on the car did not respond fast enough for the computer,have the code cleared before doing anything to see if it returns.
your car is not running pollution free.or fuel efficient

get a scan tool to retrieve the dtc (diagnostic trouble code).
you will get a misfire code.
p0301 for cyl 1
p0302 for cyl 2 and so on.
i can't recall if that engine has plug wires or coil on plug but if its coil on plug replace the coil corresponding to the cylinder misfire

Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

Check for 30 lbs. of fuel presure is present in fuel rails, bring the vehicle to Auto zone to have them hook up the OBD II code reader to check for strored codes.
