I have a Proform 622 Exp treadmill and the belt slips pretty badly. I actually fell on my back. It seems like when it slips, the belt stops at the point while Im walking on it. Do I need to use lubricant or I need to adjust the belt by the motor? We have replaced the motor a few years ago
If the walking belt slips when walked on, first remove
the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD.
Using the hex key, turn both rear roller bolts clockwise,
1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is correctly
tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the
walking belt 2 to 3 inches above the walking platform.
Be careful to keep the walking belt centered. Then,
plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully
walk on the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until
the walking belt is properly tightened. Now if this does not solve this problem then check the drive belt and adjust accordingly, also reverse the process of the above mentioned

Have you adjusted the lateral movement of the belt by adjusting the hex screws on the base? That could help. How old is your treadmill? The belt may have stretched to the point where you need a new one. I'd try the lubricant first. You can get a tube in a treadmill kit. If that doesn't work you can order a new treadmill belt.
