Sansa repair i dropped my sansa and i cracked the inner screen so i want to know how to send it in for repair. thanks

I broke the screen on my e200 series 6gb so I asked Sansa tech support about it and I was told that Sansa does not own any repair or support facilities whatsover. This means that you really can't get it fixed without either buying a new one or getting it replaced altogther.

If the interior screen is cracked, get the player replaced. You can go to YouTube and see the videos of how other peopel have tried to repair their screens, but the methods usually fail/cause more damage.

sounds like the backlight system of your screen is broken. You may have to take it to a laptop repair shop, preferably an authorized service center to have it fixed

My best advice is to get a junk player from ebay or other source,one that has a good screen. There are only 4 screws that hold the screen on,once you remove the back. With a small phillips screwdriver and about 10 minutes you can replace the screen.

All of you - call Sansa and see if it is still in warranty. If so, get it replaced. Otherwise, get a new one, b/c no repair service (to the extent that they even exist) is going to be cheaper than getting a new player. Sansa may have reduced pricing for getting a new player, even if it is out of warranty (no guarantees).

Have a sansa e260. Lost install disk. lost hard drive on computer. when new one installed mp3 will not work.

Hi you can get it fixed but the only place that do this is the makers as you cant take them apart you need special tools to do this and you cant buy them i know loads of people that have tried repairing these thamselves and end up destroying them so its not worth trying youl never get the cases off try going to sandisk site have a look on their site and get the customer support number or email give them a call or send them an email then they will tell you where their local repair center is to you its the only option you have but it will be cheaper than buying a new one so give them a call.
Also depending on how long you have had it you might have some warranty left if not you will have to pay for repair but it can be fixed just might take few weeks for them to repair it as they repair thousands every week so contact them via their site ok let me know how you get on ok

Ask the manufacturer what their cost of repair is - unlike with cars, the manufacturer usually has the best price. If it is better than the cost of getting a new one - go for it.

You don't have to crack the screen if it is LCD. The "bleeding into the screen" and "black lines" could be symptoms of leaking liquid from the damage/impact of being dropped. Where you send it for repairs would depend on the manufacturer, the store you bought it from, and if you have a service plan or not.

an lcd screen usually gets messed up by magnets or a drop more than 6 feet. but i dont know what you mean by messed up is it cracked if it is its dommed but if it just has little blobs of black you cant propbably can get it fixed at frys or somtin.
