    I acquired a Royal 325cx and it did not come with a manual. I need to know how to set the tax button and also what the other buttons mean or do. Thank you.

    i can get my tax button to work i press it and it only adds the 8 cents instead of taxing it to the money and i try the 8 percent and it subtracts it i keep getting a error button alot on the buttons i press and i cant get the clerks to work so i can change clerks

Make sure you have flipped the switch all the way towards you to program.

Press 1 for tax rate #1. Press Tax Shift. Then put in your rate with 4 digits where 8% is 8000. Press Total.

If you want a department key to be taxable, press 001, press check, type in the price you want that department to be, and then press the department key.

If you want to make it not taxable, press 000, press check, type in the price, then press the department key.

Try this, for example june 30 2004 =
Put the mode key in PRG position In round number keys press 063002 then press #/ST/NS key
If that works to set the time in round number keys press 1100 then press Qty/Date or 1305 for one 05 pm. I have a 587 cx and can't fiqure out how to print my reports X Z
