What you need to try to do is reinstall the blackberry OS (operating system) on your device.
Assuming you have verizon
First install Blackberry desktop manager it should be in the CD that came with the phone.
If you can't find it download it

Install it
Connect your phone to your computer and start Desktop manager
Click on application loader, on update software click start, click ok on USB pin selection.
when you get to the device backup and restore options, click settings
and make sure backup options box is unchecked and device data boxes are
both checked, click ok, click next, skip the email signup stuffs,and
finish.
After the software is installed the phone should boot back up

To perform a clean installation of the BlackBerry Device Software using BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.5 and 4.6, perform the following steps:
1) Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
2) Double-click Application Loader.
3) Click Add/Remove Applications.
4) Type your BlackBerry smartphone password and click OK.
5) Select the check boxes next to the names of the applications you want to load.
6) Click Settings, and then select the check boxes beside Delete all application data and Erase all currently installed applications.
7) Click OK.
8) Click Next > Finish
9) When the process has completed, the message The loading operation was successful will appear. Click Main Menu to return to BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
