I was tring to update to the internet on my psp 3000 and it didnt let me.i did everthing the booklet tells me and the psp 3000 doesnt get it. it say a connection error has occur the attempt to obtain the ip adrees timed out.please help me.

If you plug it into your computer with an active internet connection, you should be able to navigate the PSP menus and choose to update it.

you do need an update for your psp the latest version is 6.20
the best way to get this is through internet connection via settings and then system update on your psp

update the firmware on your sony psp and this will get rid of the virus. Go to this website and it will have the latest version and then it will explain how to update the psp firmware by connecting it to your PC thru your usb cable.

Click on the PSP that says 6.20 and that will bring you to the page that tells you about hooking up the PSP to your pc to update the firmware.

didnt i already try to answer this, gosh ok man if you have a 1000[phat psp's] it doesnt have a usb charge option

so since your not telling me ehat version you have, its in system settings and if it not there for your 2000 or 3000 psp it could be the firmware,

so make sure your looking correctly, look in system settings and its one of the top options called usb charge set to on,

now if its not there then check on the bottom of your psp where theres a barcode sticker, if you see PSP-1000 then you cant recharge it cause it doesnt have the feature

on the main menu there should be a system update feature. make sure that you are connected to the internet and you could update it directly from your psp.

if not then you must download the update from the sony website and then transfer the file from your pc to your psp

if you google sony psp website an go to the psp website they will have the download and tell you how to do it

TRY UPDATING IT. SOME FILES MAY COME BACK. ITS WORTH TRING IF YOU HAVENT YET!
