The problem only started a few weeks ago. when I put the card in it would normally pull up a option bar of sorts. Then I would choose how to view pictures at that point. Now it does nothing. When I pulled up windows media player to manually view pictures they were all there but had a fake cartoon picture/drawing on all the slides, like a default or something. I have a pc hp laptop. Thanks
Hi! Maybe what you're talking about is the 'Autoplay' feature of the computer. Autoplay can be disabled at some times so you cannot see it, or Autoplay only displays a view picture 'icon' when there is/are picture/s on your 2gb sandisk sd card.
To manually view your pictures, you can follow this steps:
1. Head on to your computer by clicking Computer on the Start Menu.
2. From there you can see an sd card icon that displays your inserted 2gb sandisk sd card name.
3. Click that icon, then from there you can see and browse the files on your 2gb sandisk sd card, including your pictures.
Click Helpful if this fix your problem :) It would be a pleasure.

SOURCE: SanDisk Micro SD Card problems.

if still not work than the card is faulty

The PIC or EEPROM inside these cards may not be working. I guess you best bet is to buy a new one try Kingston brand or go with another Sandisk.

I had this same issue added music to my card did a safe remove from my comp. placed in phone and it stated "No memory card inserted" and wont read in adapter in computer Im so Sad i lost all my pics/memories :( it just means that the Card is Fried (Burnt Out) no way to fix this their just like SIM cards In 3G phones and if the copper bars get scratched or bent just the slightest bit it kills the SD card.
SOURCE: 2gb micro sd From Sandisk printer won't read.
From what info I have gathered is that my card reader on my printer is old and will not read that big of card. so off to the computer store to buy a new card reader.
