Can you determine if its flashing a certain number of flashes before a slight pause. If so let me know the number of flashes as this would be an error code. If its just continually flashes then you have a power supply problem that will need to be diagnosed.

How to determine if power board on emerson tv model lc320em1 is shot
The power supply regulator board to your TV is now working fine, and has no problems at all, as, there is standby light. Check all the other voltages comes out from the power board, to main board. If all of it found OK, the fault should be at its main board.
About blinking of standby/power light;
These blinks (flashes) are fault indication. By the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside the TV. Count the blinks occur at one time switch ON, carefully. Do it once again, and make sure about the number of blinks. My pioneer vsx 815 amplifier has a flashing blue standby light. Have tried resetting by pressing enter and advanced surround keys. All it does is flash a few other LEDs and then goes back to the flashing...

"enter and advanced surround keys"? I don't see that documented as a special function in the manual.

BTW: other than the Flashing light, is there a malfunction?

Page 72 describes how it REALLY resets...

Resetting the main unit

Use this procedure to reset all the receiver's settings to the factory default. Use the front

panel controls to do this.


1 Switch the receiver into standby.


2 While holding down the TONE button, press and hold the STANDBY/ON button for about three seconds.


3 When you see RESET? appear in the display, press ENTER .

OK? shows in the display.


4 Press SYSTEM SETUP to confirm.

OK appears in the display to indicate that the receiver has been reset to the factory default
settings.
