There will be a panel that holds the lamp module in, usually on the base of the unit. Once removed the lamp is usually held in with two screws mounted on the body of the lam. Once replaced, ensure the lamp is correctly fitted and the panel then switch on and reset the lamp life in the settings menu.
lamp ballast and/or power supply is going. the ballast has to boost the charge up to 140 vdc, and after it's up to it full strength, it drops down to 40vdc to maintain. if the ballast can't get up to the proper voltage, it shuts down. or the lamp itself will not hold the voltage, and therefore needs replacing.

If you do not have a remote here is how to reset the filter time. Use the "Menu" bottun to get the "easy menu" to display. Push the down arrow until you get to "Filter Time," then push and hold the RIGHT arrow to reset the filter time. DO NOT try to reset using the "Reset" option on the easy menu, it will not work.
Turned projector on and it has a huge circular spot on the screen, lamp?
